The growing double standard keeps driving a wedge between real dialogue and ridiculous rhetoric, and the tragic irony is how the supposed "leaders" in the black community have become a parody of Martin Luther King Jr.'s message - but the joke is so bad and so destructive, and everyone so scared to face the truth, that no one can call them on it.<BR/><BR/>Racism does exist among whites in this country. And it exists among blacks. But the real difference is that the black community can be openly racist towards both blacks AND whites, while whites face relentless ostracism if they so much as HINT at a racist viewpoint. The black caucus won the day long ago, but so long as kicking the dead white horse can elicit fame and present a platform atop its' rotting corpse, no true change will occur in the black communities.
