So, just because your little rave about the five-game series undoubtedly jinxed the Red Sox into getting soundly crushed by the Evil Empire, you delete it? I’m disappointed.

Here’s my recommendation:

Wallow in it.

You’re a Sox fan, dude! Just because they pulled off a Series win doesn’t mean you still shouldn’t wear your angst-ridden, wait-til-next-year misery out on your sleeve, just like the old days before the Curse was lifted!

Being a Sox fan and a Cub fan means you drive that thorn deeper into your paw, not pull it out.

Write a post about how much the Yankees suck, and how much you’d like to watch David Ortiz make George Steinbrenner eat Derek Jeter’s jock.

Next year.

Unfortunately, having removed the post I cannot recover it. And I'm too busy to write something to replace it.
